Radio Kim

Ever since I was at school I wanted to be on the radio, back then, girls on radio wasn't really a thing, which just made it even more important for me to succeed...

getting into radio

In 1994 after a spell at the Gosport based hospital radio station, 'Radio Haslar' I had made enough contacts to find myself at my first commercial radio station, Wey Valley Radio. I turned my hand to everything, selling commercial airtime, reading the news and finally broadcasting my own show. The station had been acquired by the radio group UKRD, and so my career began…

On the radio now

I am now presenting as a freelancer, both live and voice tracked at various stations across the UK. These have included Wave 105, Greatest Hits Radio South, Hits Radio South, Pirate FM, Nation Radio, Breezy Radio, Easy Radio, Star Radio Cambridge and Island FM, Guernsey.

I have also broadcast on stations around the world, including WISP in Sarasota, Florida and Coastline FM in Southern Spain.

Voice Tracking

I am a comprehensive voice tracker, proficient with RCS Zetta2Go, and can offer short notice voice track cover to any radio station from my broadcast quality home studio, just contact me here

testimonials

Kim provides top quality, super-reliable, quick-turnaround voicetracking. All Kim requires is a little brand/station information, and in return you have a professional show that sounds 100% on-brand. Kim has appeared on many different dayparts and fits into the schedule seamlessly.
— Neil Caddy, Head of Content, Pirate FM Bauer Media
Island FM have used Kim now for the last three years and she is a delight to work with. Not only does she sound great on air but also is always happy to help out with things. The great thing for me as a programme manager is knowing that I can give Kim some information and she will make the effort to find out about local things in Guernsey and make it sound like she knows the island like a local. She is always on time with recordings and really does go the extra mile so that I know I am leaving the show in good hands when I ask her to get involved.
— James Bentley, Programme Manager, Island FM
Kim joined RCS in 2020 providing technical support and presenter assistance with Zetta2GO. She has extensive experience using the software having voice tracked for a number of radio stations who use RCS products. Kim also beta tests new versions of Zetta2GO at our studios, before they are released so is ahead of the latest updates.
I would happily recommend Kim as a voice tracker as she is proficient in Zetta2GO, and with her own professional home studio she is also available at short notice. Kim continues to work at RCS on a freelance basis and is a valuable asset to the team.
— Jon Earley, Managing Director, RCS UK
Kim has been a great asset to Nation Radio as a cover presenter for many shows in the Nation and Easy Radio families. Often available at short notice and with her excellent knowledge of Zetta2Go she is able to just pick up the station brand guidelines and go, I would not hesitate to ask Kim to stand in with any of our shows
— Neil Greenslade, Group Programme Director, Nation Broadcasting

Eagle radio videos

I was known as the ‘daredevil’ at Eagle Radio. As part of a feature on my show called ‘Lovin’ Your Work’ I spent time with different workplaces, finding out about their business and often having a go.

From climbing trees, to wing walking to bell ringing!

Here you can see some of the things I got up too…
